You know I was entirely prepared to be as fair as I am capable. But Mr Obama, has once again been the wrong. And is ONLY just now apologizing for it. I am inserting a brief article about his response. What appauls me most is that he waited so long to issue an apology, I guess maybe he thought if he lost the election he wouldn't have too. If this is the kind of behavior we can expect from our next president, aside from wanting to rewrite the constitution's right to free speech by shutting down talk radio's, but that is another blog altogether.

CHICAGO (AP) — President-elect Obama has called Nancy Reagan to apologize for joking that she held seances in the White House.
At a news conference Friday, Obama said he had spoken with all the living presidents. Then he smiled and said he didn't want to get into a "Nancy Reagan thing" about doing seances.
The former first lady had consulted with astrologers during her husband's presidency. But she did not hold conversations with the dead.
Obama spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter said the president-elect called Mrs. Reagan to apologize for the remark the spokeswoman characterized as "careless and offhanded."

WINNING AT THE COST OF OUR SAFETY!
Todays post is going to address the true meaning of WINNING! According to The American Heritage College Dictionary, third addition. Winning is defined as the following: 1.a. Of or relating to the act of winning. b. Successful; victorious. 2. Attractive; charming.--n. 1. The act of one that wins; victory. 2. Sometime won, esp. money. Often used in plural. 3. A section of a mine that has been recently prepared or opened for working.
Okay, I just wanted to be sure we all understood the meaning of and behind the word. Because now where in that definition does it describe, losing track of 13oo predators due to the fact they had no physical address. And yet the newly re-elected Governor Gregoire, did just that. How do you tell your fellow statesmen that she Won the election. It seems to me that the only persons to have won were the ones that society put away only to be released and run amuck.
So for those of you who supported her, shame on you. Shame on you for patting someone on the back whose responsible for not just those who contribute to her campaign, but all of the people of your state.

AND THE HITS KEEP COMING!
Ok people. Let me see if I have this RIGHT! Oregan is the only state as of right now that has the legalized Dr. Kavorkian suicide option, or atleast it was till last night. It seems that another state known most for its apples and the doling out of prozac on a regular basis has adopted this intiative. But wait, this is different, this one is special. This one allows for the person committing suicide to keep the doctors from informing your loved ones of their decision. Can you believe it? You go in one day to find your loved one has died and you aren't entitled to an explanation? A warning, nothing. And its not like there isn't measures already in place for people who are terminally ill.
I seem to remember it was written some where, THAT LIFE IS SACRED, whether you are here for a 100 years or 3mins.

GRAVE ERROR HAS BEEN DONE BY THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES.
It’s almost official; Barrack Obama is the next US President. But I would be remiss if I didn't comment on this regardless of the reaction that I am sure I will receive. I have never considered myself to be a racist in any way shape or form, and I wish this man all the luck because he is going to need it.
First of all, I actually wanted to vote for yes an African American. He had what I have always felt this country needed--a clear understanding of the threats and dangers that have been a constant irritant to this nation. You can call it terrorism, illegal’s, whatever. He was the one with the experience (aside from that of John McCain) of what we were dealing with. But instead of running for Presidency of the U.S. he has chosen to back the one person who not only doesn't support our troops, our citizens, but instead wishes to in still socialist reform on us, the citizens. I am truly disappointed in Colin Powell’s choice to back for the next President.
Second, I am not for one second going to believe that Obama was elected for no other reason than he is AFRICAN AMERICAN. Why you ask? He has not stood firm on any and I mean any issue other than ending a war that will most likely lead to more death and destruction. It is my belief that those that have voted for him, have done so because there has never been a president of color for the U.S. And in doing this, they have basically handed over the power to someone whose qualifications we still do not know! Why? Because he has not done a dame thing! He never served his country, only criticized it. His own running mate has no more faith in him than most of the democratic party.
So regardless of whatever those of you voted for him for, let me be one of the many who will I am most assured agree that you shall have no one to blame but yourselves. Because when our enemies, and I mean OUR ENEMIES across oceans watch and wait for the withdraw of our troops, it would be absolutely and completely naive of any of us to think that they will not strick again. God Help Our Country because our soon to be leader won't.
